The mission
We are a self-directed collective conducting independent research in AI and neuroscience, which we share through workshops, articles, and demos. Based in the Bocconi area of Milan, our community is composed mainly of students but is open to all, including non-student and older members.
Why should I care?
AI is becoming a more and more prominent part of human life. Are you interested in what the future might hold? That’s for you to say.
Methodology
BAINSA’s methodology of immersing individuals in the latest AI research is two-fold, in line with its core values:
- Strong research orientation: We match published researchers and AI companies with talented people who help them on a research project. Through this, members:
- Gain practical experience by working on AI-related Research projects;

- Have the opportunity to secure an internship with a partner company if they perform well in their projects;

- Have the opportunity to publish research papers.
- A community of like-minded people: We consider team building as a means to achieve extraordinary results while forging a wonderful community. That’s why being part of BAINSA means more than just working on projects, it includes:
- Meeting weekly to discuss the latest AI papers (as in a journal club);
- Going on trips together and joining international AI festivals;
- Growing a network that will last for years to come, even after leaving the association.
